Base IMPACTS
Base IMPACTS is the official database of the French programme for environmental labeling of consumer goods. It has been built in parallel with the Product Category Rules (PCRs) of the 'ADEME platform'.

Bilans GES is an on-line resource centre with information, guides, database and tools on greenhouse gases (GHG) assessment and reduction.
It enables companies to provide a GHG inventory; the quantity emitted (or captured) by an organisation or territory over one year of activity. The emissions are classified according to predefined categories which helps to identify those with the greatest carbon impact and thus where action is most needed.
This in an online toolbox to promote responsible purchasing including a self-assesment tool.
The toolbox consists of the following modules:
Ademe Financial Support is intended for a large range of actors and projects, including territorial communities and businesses, and covers research to implementation in Ademe's areas of action: environment, energy and sustainable development. Examples of eligible measures include advisory services, equipment for waste reduction, recycling, heat recovery, renewable energy, etc.
PLAGE helps companies and other organisations in the service sector to decrease energy use in the buildings they own. It focuses on optimising and rationalising energy consumption by buildings and infrastructure.
PLAGE guides the user through a step-by-step approach and provides several helpful tools such as checklist, calculators, etc. PLAGE users have reported being able to reduce their energy consumption by 15 to 20 % (and sometimes more) in just a few years.
This programme is available mainly for companies and local authorities, and covers investment support for renewable energy heating installations, in particular from biomass, deep geothermal heating, waste-heat and biomethane production. Companies benefiting from other subsidies like renewable energy certificates are not eligible, and only extra costs compared to more traditional technologies are subsidised; at a rate of between 20 % and 65 %, depending on the type of company and installation.
The owners of renewable energy installations (solar panels, wind mills, biomass installations) receive 'certificates' from the Flemish government. Those certificates can be sold to electricity providers who are obliged to offer consumers a growing share of renewables in the mix. The providers are allowed to buy the certificates instead of actually producing all the renewable energy themselves. Certificates can also be sold to the distributors directly at an agreed minimum price.
Subsidises investments aimed at improving the energy efficiency of company buildings, such as roof insulation, outer-wall insulation, floor insulation, relighting, heat pumps, etc. The subsidies are meant only for the building improvements, not for making products or production processes more efficient.
Funding: €0.035 for each saved primary Kwh with a maximum of € 25 000 per investment. In case of improvements to existing installations, only the extra costs are eligible.
The Environment and Energy Technology Innovation Platform (MIP) aims to stimulate and realise cleantech innovations by bringing together and supporting companies, governments, knowledge institutions, and civil society organisations - the 'quadruple helix'.
MIP provides a funding programme for demand-driven innovations and technologies that boost sustainable energy, materials and water management.
Resources on MIP are managed by Belgium's Agency for Innovation by Science and Technology (IWT).
A scheme to stimulate large investment (at least € 3 million) in very new and/or company-specific technologies that increase the environmental performance or energy-efficiency of a company.
For SMEs, between 30-40 % of extra costs of essential components are covered, and between 20-30 % for large companies. Several other funding conditions apply as well.
