Piraeus Bank Ltd. offers a preferential loan for purchase and installation of photovoltaic systems with a capacity up to 20 kW for companies and private individuals. The loan can be provided in the amount of €5,000 - €60,000 with arrangement fees of 0.50% on the loan's amount and documentation fees of €50.

The Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB), the Cyprus University of Technology (project coordinator) and the Department of Environment of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, participate in the European programme Business4Climate. The programme aims to commit businesses to get involved more actively in climate action by reducing their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 8% by 2030.

Project activities include

Business4Climate+ is an enterprise-level GHG reduction initiative that provides Cypriot businesses with the tools to identify greenhouse gas emissions from their activities. Building on the Business4Climate project, it also helps businesses draw up an action plan for GHG emissions reduction, and gives recognition to businesses that are making efforts in this direction.

If you are an industry, enterprise, local authority, public body, association, NGO etc and you have a good practice to demonstrate or an event to share, regarding circular economy, this is the place. 

The goal of Innovation Vouchers Programme is to support communication, and sharing knowledge and know-how between the business and research spheres, which leads to intensification of own innovation activities of SMEs.

They can use innovation vouchers to purchase advisory, expert and innovation support services from research organizations. For instance: measurement, diagnostics, testing, analyses, verification and certification, modelling, software development, etc.

CYRKL is an on-line platform – secondary raw materials exchange – that aims to help recover materials, which have already fulfilled their primary function, but are still utilizable and suitable for further processing.

The exchange enables companies and municipalities to offer or demand secondary materials on-line. Users can see in real time where the material is available and vice versa where it is needed. They can easily filter not only by type of material, but also by other criteria, such as distance, etc.

C-VoUCHER is the first pan-European initiative, funded by the European Commission, fully adopting circular economy principles to transform linear value chains ('cradle to waste') into circular models ('cradle to cradle'®).

For the period 2018 to 2020, C-VoUCHER has earmarked € 4.2 million for European SMEs through four open calls: € 1.4 million as direct vouchers to companies to be spent on technology implementation; and € 2.8 million on additional services.

The Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade offers an annual Turning Waste into Resources award to inspiring projects that search for a novel use of secondary raw materials with the aim of saving resources and the environment.
