Carbon Trust offers interest free, unsecured loans for energy efficiency and renewable energy technology projects for companies in Wales. The loans are provided from £ 3 000  and £ 200 000 (~€ 224 000) in Wales.

A wide range of energy efficiency or renewable energy projects can be considered, providing they meet the on-site fossil fuel use saving requirement. Examples of the projects include:

Economic aid for Catalan SMEs to improve their competitiveness and encourage transition to a green and circular economy.

Three types of services are eligible for funding:

• Analysis of production processes and identification of environmental improvements
• Ecodesign of products and services
• Promotion of new business models linked to a green and circular economy

Funding: 80 %; up to € 4 000 per service (maximum cost of the eligible environmental service is € 10 000).

Financial support for eco-innovation projects aimed at technological demonstrations, which may be complemented by non-technological innovation and feasibility studies for new products or services, business models or value chains in the Basque Country developed in preparation for participating in international R&D and innovation programmes.

The Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Brittany and the Ademe have set up a multi-dimensional programme to improve companies' environmental management. Five key areas are adressed: energy efficiency, waste efficiency, circular economy, eco-design and eco-innovation.

The Sustainable Competitiveness Product Process (CD2Pro) programme assists companies in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in their environmental management projects by mobilising the services of technological experts.

The ACCESS Rhône-Alpes Programme helps companies analyse and manage their energy consumption. It has been set up with the support of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, Ademe, and the Chambers of Crafts, Commerce, and Industry. It has three main components: the energy visit, Optim'Energy programme and Energy Focus (Cap énergie) programme.

The Creation Development of Eco-Enterprise is one of the largest clusters in France and Europe to work on eco-technologies, bringing together around 250 members (companies, research centres, entrepreneurs, public institutions, etc.) in the Haut-de-France region. It has developed tools and actions to support companies in the domains of energy and material efficiency.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) Occitanie, in partnership with Ademe, offers support to companies wishing to boost their energy efficiency. The Objectif énergie Programme covers advisory services, energy visits, trainings, and the set-up of an energy community.

Energy information: CCI advisors can provide technical and regulatory information, analysis of invoices and energy contracts, contacts for expert providers, information on financial aid schemes, and support on grant application (EU, Ademe, BPI, etc.).

The Clean and Energy Efficient Enterprise (EPEE) 2020 programme is a support initiative of the Association Energies in Haute-Normandie. With the support of the state, the region and the Ademe, it helps local companies in their energy efficiency projects.

Climaxion is the regional programme for the energy transition and the circular economy in the Grand Est region in France. It revolves around four main themes: energy efficient and sustainable buildings, renewable energies, circular economy and resource saving, climate action and sustainable territorial development.
