METABUILDING LABS - METAclustered, SME oriented European Open Innovation Test Bed for the BUILDING envelope materials industrial sector using a harmonised and upgraded technical framework and living LABS
METABUILDING LABS is a five-year Horizon 2020 EU-funded project whose main objectives are to unlock the innovation potential, improve competitiveness and boost market impact of the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the European construction sector.
For that reason, an Open Innovation Digital Platform will serve as a Single-Entry Point, giving access to a powerful innovation ecosystem, including more than 100 testing facilities across 12 European countries.
PestNu targets the field -testing and demonstration of digital and space based technologies (DST) and agro-ecological and organic practices (AOP) under a systemic approach to reduce the pesticides and fertilisers use, and loss of nutrients. The consortium brings novel DST including: AI robotic traps for real time pest monitoring; Autonomous mobile robots for pesticide monitoring and 3D spot spraying; Earth Observation missions with robust Agroradar AI algorithms to map soil/plant nutrients and pest plant inputs using Copernicus data/services; and in-situ and real-time nutrient analysers.
