The Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) are among the strategic EU industrial ecosystems, accounting for 3.95% of EU GDP. The CCIs have been one of the most affected sectors by the current crisis and need investments to repair and prevent future shocks. Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the backbone of the CCI sector in Europe, representing 99% of its enterprises. MSMEs are particularly vulnerable actors and need support to strengthen their resilience capacity and cope with the current challenges, also in relation with the twin transition.
